Pirelli Becomes Official Motorcycle Tire of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship

ROME, Ga. (May 19, 2016) – Pirelli announced today that it has reached a multi-year agreement to become the official motorcycle tire of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, beginning May 21 in Sacramento, California, at the GoPro Hangtown Motocross Classic. The iconic Italian manufacturer boasts an incredible 64 Motocross Grand-Prix World Championships and the recent partnership confirms Pirelli's commitment to off-road racing worldwide. Racers across the paddock will have the opportunity to line up with high-performance tires, such as the all-new SCORPION™ MX32™ PRO.

Pirelli recently debuted its all-new motocross tire, the MX32™ PRO, adding to the already highly successful SCORPION™ MX™ lineup. The highly versatile tire is designed to perform across a variety of conditions and used for a wide-range of skillsets. As an official sponsor in the 2016 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, Pirelli’s newest tire is no stranger to grabbing the holeshot or standing on the podium.
