This is exactly right. I work for an auto OEM and we couldn't sell directly to consumers even if we wanted to. There are many states that have franchise laws in place that prevent it, in order to protect their dealerships. I would venture that those ... more »

Get the Tusk one. It is decent quality and has J hooks that you use to clamp the footpegs to the stand. I've taken off wheels and had no issues with stability as the bike isn't going anywhere if you use the hooks.

If you look at the replay the rear fender and entire seat were ripped off the bike. He was done regardless of his injury.
