It doesn't say much for our sport when a guy makes a major investment for an event and gets there and the organizers allow blatant cheating, then he gets attacked by another rider. GH should get its act together and stop acting like MX royalty that can ... more »

I've been studying him for a long time, and in the earlier days he didn't have the "touch" that many top drummers have. He was a powerhouse drummer that lost a lot of energy in the way he smacked the shit out of the drums. He also hunched pretty badly. ... more »

I don't think the other rider was waving to people- you can see he got the blue flag, he was holding his hand up (standard lapper signal) and going to the side, which is pretty much what you're supposed to do. Not trying to indict Alessi here, just a ... more »

I suppose, but still, who follows right behind a guy over a jump when he should be aware there were slower riders out there? Like the guy he blew past in the turn before this. You would think Alessi would know better than to just plow into a guy in front ... more »

I'm enough of a Peart geek to know this would have been around 1991, when he was touring for Roll The Bones. He was an amazing innovator. What's scary is how good he was right out of the box when just beginning. He was like Bonham, Keith Moon and Bill ... more »

I turned Pulp off for the first time the other day when Matthes started making fun of Ryan Hughes' broken neck. It's well known he will push any sponsor just because it's a sponsor, and that includes his pitiful history with the neck brace issue and ... more »

Glen Helen has always had this Wild West reputation. It's unfortunate, because as one of the most prominent mx tracks in the nation, and the MXA connection etc., it could really be the gold standard for safety and organization. Instead, the opposite ... more »

So some of you dudes are doing this...what's the secret? (It blows me away seeing guys on old bikes with pencil suspenders laying it over like that). Obviously you need big momentum to keep things moving forward. WTF happens if your foot catches and ... more »

From the sound of it, it sounds like he was saying that once he got away from moto, he started a program to bulk up and look like a badass. So he apparently knows the difference between lifting for bulk and lifting for moto. But then someone explain

Did a school with David Bailey where he told me to leave the clutch out going into corners. I had always pulled the clutch in, but that just speeds you up when you're trying to slow down.
