Maybe at some higher elite level that would be true, but with a relatively new beginner, virtually any kind of strength training is going to be beneficial on the bike. Saying it's a waste of time, not even close to being accurate...

Took me nearly 60hrs to learn how to ride a 350 correctly... My recommendation is to work with a suspension guy (or someone knowledgeable) that can help you with setting up the chassis/suspension... I find setting the 350 up more like a 250f is more ... more »

No, bike still feels super tight... At the moment I don't have a bike but was asked to guide a couple guys from out of town around my riding areas. I bolted on my suspension (the bike has been my wife's the last 2yrs) and spent 3hrs on the bike yesterday.

Light flywheel make for a more that ramps up extremely fast and hit hard... Poor suspension combined with terrible frame geometry...The bike was just terrible all around as it was built "trying" to compete against 450s. The EXCs were quite different ... more »

That's me, and no...I have 4 of these tires, that's the 3rd front Hoosier (4th still on the wall), and all 5hrs later the sidewalls cracked... 13.5psi using tubes
