Re oil and run it at operating temperature. Don't start it and give it a couple of revs then turn it off.

An athletes lungs should be in better condition than your normal persons so they would suffer less s the extension of your logic. A lot of people don't get deep lung pneumonia from Covid.

Yeah, run it and check it and polish if necessary. Pistons skirts are pretty seize resistant really if lubrication is good. They effectively thermo regulate by expanding rapidly, transfering heat to the wall through oil molecules and then contracting. ... more »
