After the retirement of Desalle that indeed could be a good deal as well!

Coldenhoff to Wilvo Factory Yamaha announced soon? GasGas IG post states Coldenhoff choose to leave GasGas for the 'long term', so I guess he signed a multi-year contract

What's going on with Vlaanderen? Skipped other pre-season races, and didn't look comfortable at all yesterday on his Yamaha...

Added reply in a thread French International Race Lacapelle Marival 2/16/2020 10:55 PM

Let's hope he's not... The results at Hawkstone (7th) were okay, my guess is he can be lucky to end up around 15th place in the WC eventually looking at the strong field.

When can the Standing Construct GasGas riders finally ride the GasGas bike? I see them training a lot on the KTM, but to me it looks like they can't ride and test a lot on a brand new machine because the MXGP season starts in less than 2 months! Bit ... more »

Added reply in a thread Taddy Blaszusiak and Glenn Coldenhoff to GASGAS Factory Racing 11/12/2019 6:48 AM

If you listen to him from 3:15 - 3:22 he exactly says: "so it will be Coldenhoff on a 450 next year, which is also a good choice". He also talks about why Prado isn't on a GasGas: because the decision was made late... I guess it's not a late decision ... more »

Wow, very cool for GC259. What about Ivo Monticelli, because he's in the same team...

Now, with the biggest announcements made in MXGP, let me do an early (almost impossible) top 10 prediction for next year. 1. Herlings 2. Gajser 3. Cairoli 4. Prado 5. Febvre 6. Coldenhoff 7. Seewer 8. Jonass 9. Desalle 10. Paulin Not even in this top

Me too, I would've chosen him over f.e. Paturel for JM Honda. And indeed, outdoors I can see him scoring some top 5's but indoors I have my doubts

Thanks Lewis! Excited to find out where they will end up! And for Anstie, hope he finds a decent ride somewhere, would be a shame to lose him for MXGP next season.

So will today be the big day of announcements? Evans, Vlaanderen, Sterry, Anstie f.e.

Added reply in a thread Nobody wants to ride the Yamaha. Is it the bike, or Yamaha? 10/2/2019 2:45 AM

When he stays fit, he sure is a top 5 rider. But he also was on the Yamaha, so I won't see big differences. But perhaps the new environment will give him that extra boost to be a title contender again...

True, you have other options of teams he could be talking to?

Added reply in a thread MXGP silly season 2020 9/30/2019 2:11 AM

All open spots you mention are not the 'dreamteams' for Calvin I guess... But on the other hand, he doesn't have a lot of choices atm, quite strange no other team did sign him up earlier
