Reply to Bernard Kerr: World Cup DH racer wants to race SX 1/8/2020 11:20 PM

You missed his point, he's not comparing them as riders. Luke is obviously a much more accomplished SX racer than Kerr. But they both had the same requirements in order to race AMA Supercross - which is to simply get a license in their country's sanctioning ... more »

Some might say his best success in racing came on RED but in retirement he prefers GREEN

Is it a dumb and sort of petty reason to delete the photo? Yes. But i would do the same in a heart beat. During Ryans negotiations with Answer (or any sponsor partner) his agent no doubt heavily sells his appeal and social media reach. He's not racing, ... more »

Reply to Day in the Dirt - Florida! 12/25/2019 10:32 PM

Is there much of a film industry in Florida? The original idea behind the race was mixing the film/stunt industry with the moto industry. Seems kind of odd to see it become a “franchise” of sorts. Oz, now FL. Oh well, if Kenny can move it to other areas ... more »

I was using that term loosely. Original owner plated it when brand new (its either an 05 or 06) and its been registered with no problems for the past 15 years, so... (shrugs)

Reply to question for you dual sport and trail riders 12/19/2019 9:19 PM

Couple key questions you should ask yourself: Where do you want to ride? Do you want a "legit" dual sport, or more of a CA dual sport? Whats your budget? Me and most of my friends have CA dual sports. Basically dirt bikes with plates. We ride 95% dirt ... more »

I've seen that bike posted on and off on CL forever! I didn't know it was an AZ plate, $6500 is WAY too high

I wish I should remember who it was... but a few weeks back a Fly-sponsored pro rider posted a photo on IG and 722 commented "damn that Fly formula helmet is (fire emoji)" then under that Dustin Pipes (his HEP team owner/manager/boss) wrote "come on

Very cool! Good for him. Goes to show how bad they F'd up (and they know it). Very rare that they pull back a suspension like that.

I literally JUST went through this process. I also have the WP XPLOR on my 18 KTM 500 EXC. Forks work good for fun trail cruises and everyday off-road. But when you start pushing the pace it shows its limits quickly. I ended up racing my bike more than ... more »

Wow. Never thought about that but pretty mind boggling statistic. Big Red is the only manufacturer to not win a SX title on a 450. Surprised this drought doesn't get more attention. Its mentioned here and there but this is like our sports version of ... more »

I agree, the negativity around here is often over the top. But Alias CBD is far from an outside the industry sponsor. It's a former moto company that is now selling a private label product that they do not manufacture, back to their same customer base ... more »

Also curious about this. My wife and I are both self-employed and currently have our own policies. We are expecting our first child in April/May and want to look into a single family plan for the 3 of us.

Starting a CBD "company" doesn't take much these days. 85% of that industry is now all white label stuff. I have a supplier contact that can get you started for about $5k first order run including private label design lol. But back on topic...very interesting ... more »
