Maybe in the US but that method doesn't work in Europe, The 10th digit of my bike is a 0 but its a 2007.

10 years ago I had a YZ125 2001 with orange accents, I bought the bike like that but I liked it.

the graphics on the fork covers on my bike are also for the newer model but I adjusted them a bit to fit on the older model of the fork covers. As you can see there is a bit more white from the plastic on the underside.

the graphics for the fork covers wil also fit on the covers that are on your bike, they are the newer model(2008 and up) but they are not the ones that should be on your bike, do all the 3 bolts in the covers fit your fork lugs?

it's not always right to check the year by the 10th digit, 2008 had wave rotors, newer fork lugs and upper tubes, smaller front brake caliper, other model of front brake master cylinder, smaller rear chain guide,... If you buy a graphic set, buy a 2015

From what I can see, the non wave rotors, the dark grey clutch cover, the bigger chain guide on the swingarm and the kayaba SSS suspension(with white rings), the bike is a 2006 or 2007 model. The plastics and airbox are model 2015-2019 A decal set can

I used a complete linkage and swingarm from a 2012 yz450f So the FX 250/450 has a '4stroke' swingarm(without the plastic plugs) but uses a 22mm axle? How do they fill up the 3mm play in the swingarm ends? The problem as shown in my picture stays I guess, ... more »

No, the axle through the frame/swingarm is 1mm smaller on the 4 stroke so you have to switch the bushings from the swingarm bearings and use the pivot shaft from a 2 stroke

I had the chance to try a 2012 yzf450 swingarm+linkage on my 2007 yz250 and it doesn't fit.Had the same problem as JM485. the axle through the frame/swingarm is also 1mm smaller on the 4 stroke so you have to switch the bushings from the swingarm bearings.
