1978 RM 100. I wanna say this was Pepperell, MA racetrack. Boots were too small, pants were too big, couldn't afford a jersey or numbers, but loved every minute of racing.

Thanks, it was fun meeting you and racing with you down in TX. We didn't make it down last winter due to injury, but we should be down for the Johnstown Pro Am and the Freestone winter series. Maybe I will see you then.

This was 1980. A year or two before the all white gear came out to the public. Arlo Englund had the 1st set, he was a good buddy of mine, and talked them into making me some.

Don't forget the other RR from a decade or so earlier. He even won Daytona in 87, although not on a 125 Suzuki. Also, AJ Whiting rode an RM for a while.
