Damn it! Does anyone have any experience in fixing something like this with low temp aluminium welding rods like the ones in the link? Hey kidkawie, I saw that you recommended a late model kx front master cylinder to improve the braking on the older kx's. was it 2005 and upwards that are the ones to get? The brakes on the 02 kx125 i have arent any better than the mid 90's kx's were. ... more »

I used this, hopefully it does the job.

Yeah the clutch cover could be better, but im probably going to get some matching boyesen covers when its time for a bit of bling.

Well, i blew up the 2002 125cc. I was pushing it pretty hard to keep up with mate on my CRF450 and seized the lower conrod bearing in the crank.... bugger. So thats just sitting there for now, not sure what im going to do with it. I havent done too much

hey mate ive been in contact with evo-mx graphics in the uk and there making a heap of different works teams graphics for the kx ive got the 97 kx ricky carmicheal kit from them first class in quality

I just bought this used but good condition works pipe to bring back to life. Wiseco piston kit has arrived and all the hardware has been replated. ... more »

Yeah, im leaning towards powder coating too. What really sparked my interest when i saw the ebay ad was that it had the stock graphics and seat cover (no tears) still. Any bike that still has the stock graphics after so long couldn't be that worn. It

I'll let you know how my 97 KX250 rebuild rides in a few weeks. But back in those days, the bikes to have were 96 CR or KX, 97/98 KX. The CR took a step back with the gen1 alloy frame. The YZ250 was a good base too.
