Dealer prep is a BS charge. It takes a PDI guy 10 minutes to check the oil, make sure the battery has a charge, owners manual, etc. If they really want to sell the bike, and your being a tough buyer, they will give you their bottom line on the bike and ... more »

All dealers have a certain cost associated with a particular vehicle. They cannot sell for less then cost or they are loosing money and they will eventually go out of business. Usually, in cases like this, Yamaha still owns the bike until the dealer ... more »
That's why the manufacturers offer rebates to the dealer... The more inventory the dealers have, the higher the rebates.....
