The 02 is done and already sold. The used bike market is insane right now!

Meanwhile the 2015 200 is on the home stretch. The 200 motor fits right in the frame, but you have to make custom head stays. I just traced the 150 head stays then moved ... more »

Got the frame and swingarm back for the 2015 and had the powder coater do the rims for the 02 while I was at it.

Got some more cerakote done on the engine cases and the 02 hubs.   The stock coating on the right ... more »

Those look pretty sweet I might have to break out the files! And I wish I could find a full carbon silencer that would be pretty damn sweet but will probably just resort to a 250sx silencer off of ebay.

Just put down a base color and take a small amount of left over cerakote and add some white to it and spray it over a stencil. Nothing overly complicated, just thought it would give it a "pop".

So I've been able to get quite a bit of work done on the ol gal over the holiday break. Tore the chassis down and man it was in alot worse condition than I originally thought. Had the make a new exhaust tab and weld it on and there was a pretty big gouge

Have you guys tried the 39mm? Is it just junk? I have a 38mm off of a 150sx, just trying to decide which is better

What carb are you guys running?

So I have three questions for the guys who know this motor. 38mm pwk airstriker from the 15 150sx or 39mm keihin that came with the motor? 2015 or 2003 CDI? How to tell a 200sx pv governor vs a 125 governor?

I wanted to throw this motor in a linkage chassis, so I kept my eye out for a 12-15 125/150. I found a 15 150SX that has been trashed. Years of desert racing, lunch beers and an engine rebuilder who didn't know his ass from a hole in the ground left

What did you think of the 200? Do you still have it? Thinking of doing something similar, have a 200sx motor sitting in the garage....

She has, its a little small for her unfortunately. But I think it has plenty of power to haul almost anyone around. I had to replace just about every gasket in the carb, the slide, the choke and I put a JD jet kit in it. From what I've read the 07 needle

Welp she's all finished up. Spent more than I would've liked but I think it turned out great! I tried to use as many local utah companies to help me and can honestly say they all did a great job. Wrap It Utah for the graphics, Throttle Therapy for the ... more »

Ran into some problems with the carb. Wouldn't idle, which after a quick search on the internet sounds like a real common problem on these 150R's. Ended up taking it apart and putting all new gaskets , including mid body gaskets, new slide and a jd jet

All the parts that were replaced from the motor. The previous owner said they didn't do an oil change right. I assume that means they drained the engine oil and added it to the transmission. The

The linkage is all steel and was kinda rusty, so it also needed some cerakote.

Before assembling the motor, I did Checked how true the crank was...both sides were half of tolerance. So quality is still spot on.

Motor is back together! Unfortunately while turning the motor over by hand I discover the camshaft was bent. Luckily hot cams makes a pretty good cam and I was able to install it this week.

Also got the swingarm buddies ... more »
