Im in NC, my last ups order took a few extra days than normal. I bet you get it in the next few days. I would really love to hear the stock seat base weight vs this carbon unit.

Got the swingarm today, cleaned up great very happy with it. I got the 09 swingarm, linkage, axle, blocks, and brake mount for $215. Now all I need is the hub bearings/seals, and spacers... i think? Lol. I also plan on switching to tubliss and installing ... more »

I have seen a steel frame 2 stroke with a 09+ 4 stroke arm, it was an old thread. He said something about the bolt that connects the linkage to the frame was smaller, so in order for me to use the 09+ 4 stroke link I would have to make some kind of sleeve's ... more »

Be sure to disassemble the power valve system. I thought mine was fine but found the main shaft split in 2. love my 04, about to swing arm swap to newer swing arm style within the next few weeks.

I just bought a 2009 yz250f swingarm to put on my 2004 yz250, I read on another thread something about having to mod and/or the frame to get the newer style linkage to fit.I'm just seeing if anyone here knows anything about the swap to a steel frame.

Burn marks on crank? It's probably like that from the factory. A lot of people think it's a problem on yz250's but it's normal.

pro-x is a rod "kit" which include the big end rod bearing, pin, and thrust washers.... from what I seen the OEM bearing alone is $55... and the thrust washer like $20 a piece. and the pin is almost $30. I just looked on motosport the total cost for ... more »

30 hours of riding for $1000 lol you are crazy. I would rather ride a scooter, with a fat wallet. When i was a teen i would need a new bike every week if that was the case.

I decided to go with a pro x piston. My plan right now is to send the crank, pro x rod rebuild kit, New pro x piston, and my cylinder to Ken Oconner. Anyone have a reason why i shouldn't?
Added reply in a thread Yz250 Top end inspection 12/3/2015 11:05 PM

I guess the next step will be to take the cylinder to my local dealer to measure how bad the cylinder is worn? i would hate to pay to have it shipped to Oconner to find out it's no good.
