JS7s best option for 2017 is the couch, where he seems to have spent most of 2015 and 2016.

Then the AMA needs to rewrite the rules covering numbers and remove the part where you have to earn it each year by scoring enough points. If what you say was true the AMA would not have rules that you have to earn the right to keep their number.

I'm not arguing that he should "lose" his number, I'm arguing that he should have to EARN it just like the AMA rules state, and if the AMA is going to have rules for how you earn and keep an number, then those rules should apply to EVERYONE. Its really ... more »

What about John Dowd or Mike Brown or anyone else who tried to keep their number and doesnt make it to 25? Why is James different? He should have to EARN his number every year just like everyone else. The rules are clear, you have to score 25 points ... more »

When did they change it? I thought they were still 35+ 2.

Me too. They should be 35+ 2 like the GPs, not shorter.

I'm not sure, but I would guess he will do at least the races on the east side of the country, but I hope he can make it to all the rest of the remaining Nationals after the results he put in the last couple weekends.

Roczen and Tomac both made up a ton of time on everyone in that "amateur section". That was one part of the track where you could see them both make up 2-3 bike lengths on anyone in front of them.

The bike was pointing the wrong direction on the track, where he was sitting he could turn 180 degrees left, across the traffic landing the last tabletop, or he could turn 90 degrees right and go down the hill without getting landed on. I would have ... more »

He is from near my home town on the Gulf Coast of Alabama so I have followed him since his rookie year in 2010.He went 15-14 for 15th overall at Freestone that year and it was like 100+ degrees. He has been up and down since but he has never had a good ... more »

So is the Lucas Oil podium girl. Did anyone else notice she slaps him on the ass as he walks away after the 2nd moto podium interview?

Reply to Short cut! 6/26/2016 8:56 AM

Not much of a short cut IMO and definitely safer than trying to turn around right where everyone was landing that tabletop.

Reply to Stank didn't make it.. 6/26/2016 8:50 AM

The track was really heavy and deep for practice and the consi, it was a huge disadvantage, If the conditions in the consi were like the 2nd motos he probably would have made it in, but he had no chance in the morning.

Reply to Question about my bikes VIN number? 6/19/2016 5:33 PM

VIN numbers can not be changed with a replacement frame. The dealership has to stamp the same number into the replacement frame as the original and you have to show proof that the original frame was destroyed. I agree that there seems to be something ... more »
