Added reply in a thread 2016 Husqvarna TC125 Gear Oil 2/6/2016 3:36 PM

Rotella is not like it used to be, the reason everyone used it was because diesel oil didnt have all the zinc taken out. At the same time as the "ultra low sulfur" fuels were mandated for diesels, they took all the zinc out of Rotella and every other ... more »

Just to clarify in case someone might think it is from senility, its not because Jody is old, he has been a self important pompous ass for at least 30 years.

I live an hour from there and I rarely see quads. The trails are much better than the MX tracks, but the tracks are not bad. I recommend also hitting Monster Mountain which is about 2 hours south from HP, it has a national quality track which is worth ... more »

The difference is VF does it 5 times per lap, every lap, every race. The lap and a half before the incident with him and Pieck I was watching VF and he either cross jumped 4-5 times and tried at least 2 takeouts. I even said out loud "Someone is going ... more »

Added reply in a thread Peick penalty 1/10/2016 9:59 AM

The Peick penalty is fine, but Friese getting nothing is bullshit. Just in what FS1 showed I saw 4 or 5 things, like cross jumping through a rhythm section, that if it had been me Friese did it to I would have parked him in the fucking stands.

I remember very clearly the day I knew I was never going to be a pro MX racer. I was practicing at Saddleback on my CR125, it was the middle of the week so I had the place almost to myself, it must have been '83 or '84 right before it closed. I was starting ... more »

No, I have not been there in a while, but I've ridden at Monster since the mid '90s. As a matter of fact, my profile picture is on the back Vintage track at Monster Mountain.

Added reply in a thread Future YZ250 R&D? 11/1/2015 9:43 PM

No, it is literally a 5 speed wide ratio transmission, a kick stand, and an 18" rear wheel, otherwise its your standard YZ250, which is not a bad thing.

Added reply in a thread 93 cr 250 question 11/1/2015 9:38 PM

The stock pipe is the best, but when I crushed mine I got a DG National pipe, it was nothing more than a copy of the stock pipe for 1/3rd the cost of a new Honda pipe.

Added reply in a thread Future YZ250 R&D? 11/1/2015 8:59 PM

True, they did make the X but that is not a radical redesign, its a transmission, kick stand, and an 18" rear wheel. I am happy to see Yamaha going in that direction, but its not a redesigned frame or DI like the original poster was worrying about.

Added reply in a thread Future YZ250 R&D? 11/1/2015 8:26 PM

Why would they radically update it? They already sell every one they make.
