Didnt haggle on the price @ $300. Went to meet him an hour away in Lansing at a truck stop, perfect. He hops out of the Chevy Tahoe, shaking hands & lights up half Newport 100 mumbling to himself. I all in, but where is the bike? well they laid it down and put it inside the Chevy Tahoe, props boys. I didnt even bother to negotiate the price with him. I told him his $300 "Is right here, if you guys can load that into my truck." They were pumped, he then proceeds to tell me that he had it running a month ago after he put a new top end in it, but now has no compression. For $300, thats a helluva start for the winter project.
