Started new thread Much Adventure riding in CT or MA? 11/22/2020 12:08 PM

I’m considering buying a FE501 or KTM 790, but concerned there may not be many off-road areas within a reasonable riding distance from central CT to get enough use out of them. Anyone do much Adventure riding in the Northeast, or do you load up and drive ... more »

How does the GPR compare to Scott’s l in performance? I’ve heard of some reliability issues with GPR (that were resolved).

I’m contemplating on putting a Scott’s on my KX500 for track and occasional off road use. For the 500, it seems it could help keep the rear end in line for the power output on that bike, especially for sand tracks and rough straights. My only concern ... more »

Looks like thumperracing.com has big bore/stroker kits from 590-660cc and respective mods. They say on their voice recordings they’re 3 months out on orders and aren’t accepting any tel calls or incoming work, so I’m not sure what type of output results ... more »

Or maybe a TE300i

Considering buying ‘20 or ‘21 FE501 for mx & adventure use...is this a good bike to do both? Outside of suspension setup, can this engine be tuned for more power? The other alternative I’m considering is a CR450X or L. Thanks!

Hard to tell what caused the finger damage, maybe it got caught in the front wheel spokes?

How did that happen?

The thing I don’t like about FB marketplace is it shows your name. A person can look up your address and steal the bike. I only show mine at the local police dept.

I used to run Fusion One Pipe repair for the last 12 years, then decided to retire after repairing over 7,000 pipes. If anyone would like to know how to do the repairs, drop me a message, I’d be happy to help.

Yea, used 5/16 roll pins. Heated valve in vice, crimped the roll pin with vice grips and tapped them in with hammer.

Have an 07YZ125 with exhaust valve pins that are loose. What’s the preferred repair technique to secure them? Fit a roll pin, loctite or I saw a repair kit on eBay, not sure if the replacement pins are the right diameter size though ?
