Unfortunately this is all I can make out on the current damaged cylinder. However the piston the PO has in here is an A, and the one I just received to replace is a B. I’ll have everything measured properly before reassembling with new parts. Any luck

Here is the piston...looks like a fairly recent pro-x. If you run your nail across where the exhaust ports would be there are physical small scrapes in the piston. The PO said he recently did a top end, but failed to mention why.....now we know.

My thoughts exactly. Just off the phone with my awesome local Pro Action guy, as he’s revalving the suspension for me, and he was shocked too. Says the suspension had absolutely no noticeable wear either. But, I’m this far into it, so will either get ... more »

Found this after removing cylinder today. I’m assuming I’ll need to send this out or get a new cylinder. Thoughts? Wondering if whatever caused this is why the previous owner put a new piston in it. It has an A size pro-X in it with very little time

Suspension is at Pro-Action getting the full treatment right now, and some goodies started rolling in. I got a Works Connection skid plate and OEM front sprocket cover off eBay that I’ll clean up. The prices on these were too good to pass up, so I think

Thank you, however I’m going to hang on to it to stay with the bike. I do however have a GYTR FMF shorty that came with it, and I plan to pick up an FMF pipe to go with that as well for another option.

Wow. That is beautiful. If you want a matching 125 here is the 2000 I just “finished” last fall. Built it to ride, but still looks good. Could use proper color on the frame tho and a stock pipe. Selling this one locally, need to post it on here.

I agree, these older bikes are so cool. Like I mentioned earlier, the 2000 I built last year was so much fun to ride - passing guys on new 450's while on a 20 year old 125 brings nothing but smiles. Your build is beautiful, and I can't believe it came ... more »

Recently picked up an 03 YZ125 from original owner with very, very little use. Even still has stock tires. I just got done with a 2000 YZ125 build and am so excited to get this one going. Already have a hefty parts list, as I’ll replace clutch, top end,

My boy is 3 1/2 now. We will see you at the track 👍🏼👍🏼. So awesome.
Started riding at 10, racing at 13. I’m 35 now so 22+ years since my first gate drop. It’s only gotten better.
We came across this on YouTube with my 3 year old a while ago and he absolutely loves this. He asks for “the hill climb guys” all the time now, and makes the same cringing sounds I do when seeing and hearing those bikes get crunched on the way down!
Nice bike and great price. Best of luck for a quick sale. - Digging your garage floor too. 👍🏼
I agree that’s usually the case, but deals can be had....on all brands, not just Suzuki.
Yes. There is one at Lincoln Trail in Illinois that has got me a few times to the tune of a shifter once, a radiator another time, and some ribs. But when that line works it’s sooo great for passing!!
I see what you did here....I’m not familiar either.
