100%. I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw the lap times.

I remember those days. I started racing mx in 1972. Obviously a much different time and the sport was just starting out. But that was then, and this is now. The sport has evolved 1000% since then. Pretty much everyone here agrees the race day is too ... more »

I just don't agree with your logic on kids. Over here a kid shows up on a new KTM 50 he wants more than 3 motos. They want all they can get. Same with 65s and 85s. One class is not enough. And as a promoter I can tell you the youth classes pay the bills ... more »

I just wore my new SG12's last Sunday for the first time right out of the box. No problems. Felt a little stiff for a couple laps but all good after that. I always wore 10's before these. The 12's are the most comfotable boots I've ever worn. Don't worry ... more »

Here we do 15 min sessions: A/B 85/65 C/D 50cc/Playbike Vet plus 40 And never Quads. Quad MX is almost dead anyway.

I don't see that working here. Maybe it works there becuase thats how they've always done it. You have 11 classes listed, so to get to 300 entries which I would consider a pretty good day, you'd need 27 riders in every class. The way those classes are ... more »

I'm a rider too and agree. But read my first post about the cost of doing a race. Reducing classes would reduce entries because it would eliminate many riders from riding more than one. And number of entries, not riders is what pays the bills. Ideally ... more »

Wouldn't work. When we do a race, over half the riders only do one class. $100 would kill those guys. And for many riders 5 to 6 laps per moto is plenty. Trust me, I ride and race too and would love shorter race days. Our group has promoted a ton of ... more »

Let me chime from the promoter side of things. I'm also a rider and have been for many years. Less classes is a great idea, but certainly not a new one. The problem is, less classes means less entries. Which translates into less revenue for the track. ... more »

I would agree. LTM is one of the most popular tracks in the Midwest with no really big jumps. I'm 64 and feel like its got a great layout. Plenty wide and nothing sketchy.

I ride a 21 KX 250, but I'm wanting to another 125 to play around on. I found a pretty nice, low hour 19 TC125. I weigh 152 and was wondering if the suspension is good for that weight and how good it is? I'm getting ready to send my KX suspesion off ... more »

My brother sells TM as well as Kaw and Polaris. He rides a 300 4 stroke and his grandson rides a 250 4 stroke. Both have been rock solid and they do very well on them.
