That's disappointing. I'd buy it if it were good. Been a BRCC member for a few years now. Hard to move away from them.

Yeah I have a problem getting my Ruger 10/22 to cycle certain ammos. In fact it's harder to find ammo that will cycle it fully than ammo that won't. Bolt gun or lever action gets my vote. I also like a tube magazine on the Henry's.

Reply to Musquin is back ! 6/24/2020 9:08 AM

When Musquin first started landing on the podium I found his podium interviews comical, then very soon got annoyed at them. I've grown to really enjoy hearing his excitement in his podium interviews and respect the hell out of them man. And him and his ... more »

Reply to Is this really the deepest field ever? 6/19/2020 6:44 AM

"Deepest field ever" is simply a cliche marketing phrase. Every year is the "deepest field ever" because the phrase is objective and the criteria can be manipulated to fit the phrase on any given season. I've learned that field "depth" isn't as entertaining ... more »

New thread I'd hate to race Webb 6/18/2020 10:24 AM

He has got to be top 3 in the hardest to pass category. He takes low lines in corners when competition is behind him making them try to go the long way around. He's great at getting the bike pivoted and going again by taking the tight lines. He seems ... more »

My understanding of the second muffler was for balance. Because all of the riders were having a difficult time balancing with only one muffler for the last however many years.

Reply to Riding Styles - Sexton vs. McElrath 6/18/2020 7:40 AM

I've been thinking this a lot lately. Dungey had a somewhat similar 250 record as Sexton. Chase has bulked up a good bit over the last year similar to the way Dungey (and others have). I have high hopes for him on the 450. He appears to be making all ... more »

Reply to Black flag uber lappers? 6/8/2020 5:50 AM

There were only two guys racing that race. . . And I'm not advocating they pull the lappers. If you're arguing about "fair", you're gonna be busy for a long while. Life isn't fair.

Reply to Tomac and Dungey now tied in SX wins 6/8/2020 5:36 AM

The elephant in the room is certainly the championship but it seems that he's pushed through the issues he's had previously. Impressive he's accomplished what he has without a 450SX championship. Was it JT$ that predicted he wouldn't get a championship ... more »

Reply to that 450 main was insane! 6/8/2020 5:31 AM

There hasn't been a rider that has turned around a freshman and sophomore slump like Webb has done in well over a decade or more. Has anyone ever done that? He looked like he was going to do what so many 250sx champs have done which is come in and be ... more »

Reply to Martin Davalos 6/5/2020 11:11 AM

Fact is he should have had at least one 250 title. Dude had the speed without question. I neither hate or like Davalos. Speed will get you rides. The money lands on those who execute. I'm sure he understands fully why his career has gone the way it has. ... more »

Reply to Serious question about AMA SX championship, "an FIM World Championship" 5/29/2020 12:25 PM

Life’s not fair. Then you die. Who cares if some c practice dude can’t make it for his c practice round. What if’s are good for nothing. I want to see some racing. Don’t care about the semantics of what it’s called.

Nothing like punching a tree square with the front wheel. Done that once or twice.

Reply to Kawasaki Team mates AC & Eli 5/26/2020 12:49 PM

Fair point. I think Webb wants Tomac to not win more than he wants Kenny to not win. Probably believes Tomac is the bigger threat if he gets a championship and momentum heading outdoors and next SX season.

Reply to Jimmy Decotis retires from racing 5/26/2020 12:41 PM

I think he's saying you can't keep your ride and not ride. If you step away, you generally sacrifice your ride. Jimmy D is 29ish. Towards the end of a SX/MX professional racer either way. My best guess is he is retiring. The message reads more like a ... more »

Reply to Roczen @ elevation? 5/15/2020 11:53 AM

Anderson is the one that is prone to elevation issues. I'm sure he just loved the venue announcement. Ken will be fine IMO. Tomac will have the elevation advantage.

Reply to New Music from Justin 5/15/2020 11:49 AM

Meh. Not my style of music but doesn't sound any worse than stuff in the same genre. I'm just glad to hear he isn't repeating the same word the whole song and calling it a song.

Pretty well agree with you. But Izzi's problems stemmed from his injury followed by his team owner backing him into a corner and told to take pain pills and ride or lose his ride. He made the decision and the rest is history. But I chalk his end result ... more »
