My vote goes to the shotgun for home defence. Plenty of power, lots of choices for loads so it can perform more than one job. I think it has less of a chance to over penetrate vs. an AR and handguns are for CCW. I also dont see anything wrong with a ... more »

The CMM seems like a great idea! We have several at work but I havnt run one in about 16 years. I trust my tools and my skill at using them enough that I dont think a cmm is necessary.

Difference of measurments. New pistons never even touched the bore. I use feeler blades every day at work and while I have a very good feel for them they dont seem very acurate for round surfaces.
