I second the SDG recommendation. I have one on my woods bike. It was very firm when new. I’ve had it for 5 years and it still feels great.
Here’s a pic of a ‘68 Bonneville I resurrected about 10 years ago. I put a Boyer ignition in it and Mikuni carbs for reliability and performance. The purists don’t seem to like the Mikuni’s but they certainly worked well on that bike. That’s original
Here is my 4 time 125cc Supercross champion Pro-Circuit key ring, and a banner from the late 90’s
The scrub was not invented recently, just taken to another level. Riders have been absorbing or sucking up lift on jumps since at least the 70’s
I recommend getting the whole front end that you want to swap, not just the forks. Get the triple clamps, front wheel, and front brake assembly. The All Balls bearing website has a compatibility chart that shows what triple clamps fit which bike using

I was taught to warm the engine by riding the bike, not just running the engine. The small metal particles in the trans get stirred up and suspended in the oil and then drain out.
Would you happen to know if those yz pegs will bolt right on to an ‘04 CR250R ?
