I went with an Oklahoma Joe's smoker and a Webber. I use the Webber for direct grilling and the Oklahoma Joe's for mostly smoking, but also use it for thick steaks that I like to sear, then smoke. The Joe's is heavy gauge steel and will last a lot longer ... more »

The show seems to be moving towards new technology from a military organization (US/Russia/China). My guess is they will unveil a new plane at the end of the show. All these shows on History are prepping us for new technology.

So, I'm wondering, are these recent shows preparing us for some sort of announcement, or roll-out of a new plane at the end of the series? Also, on a related note, one of these (https://www.military.com/equipment/mh-47-chinook) did a fly-by at work last ... more »

What was he at TWOTWO, then? I think he would be a good team manager. He's been through the industry for the past 20 years, created his own team, ran his own program - successfully, has been in a mentorship role on the past few teams he's raced for, ... more »

Check out hobbywing for your electrics. They have esc/motor packages that are priced right and you can buy direct. I saved a bunch of money on my set-up by buying straight from their website.

If there's no clutch, why not put the rear brake on the handlebars? Seems it would be a huge advantage to free up your feet through turns. I never understood this with the Alta as well.

It's good! I wish they went more into the engineering aspect, but it gives a good insight into the politics of the teams and how they interact. I'm about 1/2 way through the series now.

The best advise I can give is to see what the guys are running at the track and get that. The locals will help with set-up and advise for upgrades. I just got back into it recently. The track by me is mostly 1/8th scale e-buggy, so I got an Agama (actually

"Patriot" on Amazon has been entertaining. It's sort of dry humor and gets slow at some points, but it's pretty funny. Ken Block's Gymkhana show on Amazon is pretty good as well.

They're good for 10-12 year old kids. There are a few issues that we had (broken shock caps and broken axle) but they are pretty good for that age range. Parts are cheap and easy to find and there are a million upgrades you can do to these.
