I changed my spring without taking the shock out. Removed the linkage, lift the swingarm a bit and it comes right out the bottom. I didn’t want to remove everything just to change the spring.
In the box in front of the mud flap.

That sucks. Any other damage? Doesn’t top mine at least. First ride on the Honda today at Estreet.
I broke a few clutch plates last year. All the debris clogged the inside screen, but I didn’t know it. Then the right main bearing went out. When I split the cases it was completely plugged.
With 145 hrs I’ve replaced one exhaust shim with a half a thousandth thinner one.
Mine had about the same hrs. In side crack and blew completely off the bike. PC sent me a new one.
I would replace the crank. Mine con rod broke in half at 125hrs.
140 hrs on my rubber mounted PC. No problems.
The head, ignition, and clutch survived. Everything else was toast.
My connecting rod broke in half at 125 hrs. Destroyed pretty much the entire motor. l know of one other that did the same with 33 hrs.
You can add oil through the air bleed hole.
Same issues for me. I use the ‘16-‘18 double bearing roller. The cross ribs wear off a bit quick, but after that they last fine for me.
130 hrs haven’t lost one yet
