I have red rg3 clamps already that I planned on running, but I can’t find 1 1/8 two post mounts for them, so I was hoping to find a set of red PC clamps to use instead

I don’t think I would ride it.. I would rather spend 6-7k on another one, ride that instead and keep that one mint. But I also have a bike in my living room that I built to ride, and have only put about 30 minutes on it..

I believe I have a good 04 works. When I get a chance I’ll shoot you a message with some pics on IG

What elevation are you at? Sounds like the jetting is too rich. I was normally around a 165 main on stock engine. Necj Suzuki needle on 2nd clip and I believe a 40 or 42 pilot. Elevation 1800 feet

That looks like very good work.

Does that look like a chip in the plating on the first pic?

I understand that. I’m more worried about the cylinder not being replated. The bike rips up top, I’m still playing with jetting and squish. I got the squish to .050 last night, dropped to a 30 pilot and 400 main. If it’s not 110 degrees when I get off ... more »

Ok that makes sense. I don’t believe he filled them, but I also didn’t notice any flat spots in the transfers, the transition felt nice and smooth

Yeah the plating was paid for. I didn’t send the cases, and by j hooks are you talking about where he cut by the powervalve? I don’t believe it was filled.

That is what I was expecting to see when I opened the box Who did that work if you don’t mind saying?

Yeah I truly am mind blown. It wasn’t at all what I expected. The replate not looking like it got done bothers me the most

So I guess it’s time to ask for some more opinions on my cylinder. I haven’t received a response from Jeff so I will post a couple pictures with my concerns. First, the work appears to not be complete or cleaned up very well, the bike makes power so

Thank you. I may have another cylinder done and cut the base on it a little bit. I ride mostly desert and mx, so as much as I’d love more low end power, I really don’t want to lose anything up top. Today or tomorrow I should be able to test the bike ... more »

Ok I would wait for someone with more experience to chime in. That’s a different situation than I had

Does your oem seal head have a spacer? Measure both seal head lengths with the oem spacer and see if they are the same? If the spacers are different, and you get the same measurement in both seal heads with the oem spacer, then I would run the oem spacer. ... more »

I had the same issue with a kyb shock and skf seal head. If you measure from where the seal head rests on the retaining clip in the shock body, you will get a different measurement than the oem style, so putting the spacer between the seal head and piston ... more »

I believe squish was around .055 with the cometic gasket, the 05-07 should put me around .049-.050
