I think you’ll see an increase in the value of the mid 1990’s and up two strokes. The new bike market is getting so outrageously expensive that a lot of people are looking to the older two strokes as a budget option while still maintaining a decent level ... more »

It definitely says a lot for the old saying “they don’t build them like they used to” !!

I have been bringing this old ‘71 kawi G4TR back to riding condition. I want to keep the cosmetic wear and tear intact as I like to think of that as part of the “history” of the bike. I bought the bike for $150 last year and finally have got around to

It’s a longer hose than stock that’s wgy it has the look that it’s not quite right. It’s actually a braided steel line that came included with the front calliper I bought from eBay. The original hose I had was no good so I used this one instead. It’s ... more »

The Nineties era kx’s are rad bikes , still competitive today at a club/vet level , this one has plenty of jam , it won’t hold back a 450 four stroke on a long straight but on a tight track corner to corner it will leave them behind !

Yes definitely low on compression , it is also sucking oil in from the crankcase. I’m going to change the crank seals and pull off the top end and go from there. I’m hoping I can put in a fresh piston and be back in business but will just have to wait ... more »

I picked up this ‘95 KX250 in 2016 as a project bike to keep me busy at home when I got laid off work. It was bagged out and a total roach. I spent 6 months stripping it down and rebuilding everything on the bike. The frame and swingarm were powder coated

Recently picked myself up a 1982 YZ250 as a project. So far I have cleaned the carb and done a compression test. The bike runs but definitely needs some work. Hoping to get it tidied up enough to do some vintage racing on it this season. I’m open to
