Wow very cool SCR that you knew ol Thad. And yes the rider really made a difference on those bikes, you couldn't get away with stuff they do today. Yet they still went real fast.

Good catch 92 yeah definitely Dougie's era, he was a cool guy and is missed.... I remember he raced a 87 Hurricane just like the one I had at Willow Springs.

Back when racing was much more simple, no electronic gizmos-traction control, wheelie control, Anti-lock, ECU's Etc.

A street bike and convert it into a race bike is kind of what this guy did and he was reunited with his race machine 36 years ... more »

Oh man that thing has been crashed hard! is that a hole in the case ? also it seems like the footpeg got ripped off in the crash tank needs to be replaced, fairing and seat handlebars are all damaged and that is just looking at it from my phone. you're ... more »

Some very good info there Bob I have to agree with probably everything you said. I've had five Seadoos in my time the first one being a 1990 580 SP 95 720cc XP 97 800cc GSX ( Great ski) All those I bought new and never had any major issues with them

There are many variables in that: 1) Age 2) Wife, G/F, kids, are they going to sit on the beach and watch you or do you want them to be able to ride with you? 3) Size of lake 4) do you like to go on longer rides where you can take supplies like, drinks

Hahaha you guys are funny riding street bikes is a whole different mentality then riding a dirt bike let alone racing a dirt bike.

Hard to tell from the pictures I'm on my phone right now. Looks like The Handlebar is bent and the seat is torn and a lot of plastic scratched up all that stuff adds up fast and expensive. the worst would be if the forks were bent or the frame was damaged.

I sold my Six Days 250 XCF-W to a good friend, so it was good to keep in the Family and he also joined the Dual Sport Revolution...

I suggested he go up one tooth on the C/S sprocket (equates to -3 on the rear) as occasionally you have to ride ... more »

I live in Arizona you either need a pool or watercraft to survive the Summers I'm on number 5 as far as Seadoos go. The skis are 20 years old and they're two strokes, 951s twins. On the dreamometer they clock 70 miles per hour and when you hit a bunch
