I have the chance to pick up a 1984 RM125, its in a very tired condition. Would it be worth the investment?

i don't think you can beat the YZ's overall package. Like it's been said, get the yz, some reeds, a head and a pipe and you'll be on par with the KTM but with better suspension
I feel like our championships aren't professional enough to bring a heap of factory rides. Why can't we just have traditional formats too. Like 30+2s?

Have you ever though about being careful? There are A LOT of un written rules about riding. For example whenever I ride off road (in the woods) I try to only ride trails that I know, and on my first "lap" I scope everything out. Look for any danger, ... more »

I think I know my way around a motor well enough
apart from all the usual stuff like plastic fade, rubber splitting/cracking, and bad bearings (wheel, swing arm, linkage, head stem...) the only thing id think would be difficult is the output sprocket is welded to the shaft
Exact same deal at the junior level here in AUS... It's more then just the updated line.. At a state level local dealerships are running semi-professional teams with guys on 50s, 65s, 85s, 125s, and 250f's... It's surprising they are the only manufacture ... more »
