I can agree with that, but, watching it happen to one of ya mates is Golden lol. We've had a sea of Orange over here for years, long before they got an e-leg. You Yanks were a bit slow on the up take, but then, in your defence, we do get out of bed 24 ... more »

Yes, because it could be even lighter without the e-leg, and I'd prefer less weight over an e-leg every day of the week. I've been there as well. Was goin g for a holeshot, saw a mate cutting across from the outside, was going to T-bone him so locked

Where's your sense of adventure? It's all apart of the fun. There are a few blokes around here that have YZ 250 X's, but they won't once the YZ goes electric start. Anyone who thinks they are essential must be short of skills, or are about as soft as ... more »

I don't know all, but I do know I have some Works Connection KX 125 frame guards to fit an 03 new in the packet.

It'll never happen. If it does, I'll considering buying the KTM and removing the e-leg. Assuming it had a kicker, if it didn't have a kicker, I'ld stick with the slightly heavier bike without the e-leg, add some Ti and carbon. And Bob's ya uncle! BTW, ... more »

There's no way I'd buy the new RMZ 450 over the bikes with e start. If it were significantly lighter than the bikes with an e starter I would though. Some of our group ride Beta, they won't be next year, simply because the Beta's will be e start only

And if I were in your shoes I'd want one as well. But I'm not, and never will be. The type of riding I do, and on the bike I ride, don't require it. The main selling point for me is weight. I'd always choose a YZ 125 over any 4T. I'd rather walk than ... more »

I mostly ride off road as well. I've got 45 trouble free kick starting years on my leg. I never stall the bike so I've never felt the need for it. I'm happy thashing my clutch. I also mostly ride 2T small bore bikes and doubt that'll ever change. The ... more »

Not in the 2T range.

Everyone uses it here. It has 2 less letters than "start".

Added reply in a thread E Start 9/21/2017 4:53 PM

Don't want it and wouldn't buy a bike that had it. I'll take less weight every day of the week over an e-leg.

The good thing is it's an 04 KTM 200 engine, the best of the bunch. The bad part is that it's an MPS frame conversion. In saying that, I'd fork out 5K usd no problem at all. Actually, I'm about to get on the blower to let a few mates know about it.

Yes, you need a 2010+ air box. I used an RMZ seat with the X-Fun alloy tank, but, you need to do a mod on the tank, the seat button needs to be removed and replaced with the RMZ 250 bracket. I still have the sub frame, seat and air box. If you decide ... more »

You can use it with the OEM tank or the X-Fun alloy tank. . The air box boot from an 04+ RM 125 is a direct fit with the 2010+ RMZ 250 air box.
