BCG is not given in the US and has never been routinely given since TB has been considered eradicated in the US. I saw quite a few people with BCG scars when I lived in Asia. Some BCG scars can sort of look similar to the small pox scar but most of the

Not Polio. Small Pox. In the US the polio vaccine was OPV (Oral Polio Vaccine) given by a drop in the mouth until about 2000. Since then it has been IPV (injected polio vaccine) which is a simple injection. The Small Pox vaccine was the one where they ... more »

How long a period of immunity does the vaccine provide? Why should a person who already has naturally acquired immunity from previous covid infection get the vaccine?

Yep using stock yellow spring. Different colored springs are another whole variable in the equation I have not played with yet.

In the little bit of messing around I've done with Lectrons I've come to realize they have a very tight window with the metering rod length adjustment where they are perfect. 1/4 turn longer than ideal is lean bog and hanging idle. 1/4 turn shorter than ... more »

I kind of look at it from another way. With the jetting being crisper/leaner, the rpm's ramp up faster. Since the PV opens on a centrifugal system and not a direct 1:1 connection, it cannot open at the exact same rpm. So, 3.5 turns was good for the stock

Yeah, glad I played around with the PV. Now that I see what 1.75, 2.25, and 2.75 feel like, it makes me realize I was way too far in at 3.5 and why it felt so ultra-snappy. It also makes sense that the 3.5 likely was the result of the rpm tuning at the ... more »

Added reply in a thread How do you tighten a KTM 85 2020 throttle cable? 4/6/2021 9:13 PM

My bet, your issue is grit/dirt inside the throttle grip tube and housing. Or maybe the end of the plastic tube is crushed/cracked from crashing or some grip glue found its way in there. Take that all apart and clean it out good and try that.

First guess, something is messed up with your rings and you're getting compression blowby that is over pressurizing your crankcase.

Yes, the hydraulic tensioner causing noise is a known problem. I now have over 40 hrs on the Nihilo manual tensioner and it's been great. Bike actually seems a little faster, freer revving also.
