Yeah it’s the stock plastics. It does look long on the picture, probably just the angle or something.

Just a side note, since the mass talcum class action lawsuites all I can see anywhere anymore is corn starch powder baby powder. Is this stuff worth messing with compared with real old school talcum powder? Thanks if anyone knows.

OK, 58 hours on mine and smoking a fair amount on warmup. No issues with the bike at all, other than that, runs and starts great. CP top end kit/gaskets/timing chain going in. Will update after the job is done. Will try and post some pics as able. Cheers! ... more »

Thanks so much for the info everyone! So, Looks like CP and OEM top end kits readily available, question - it appears the CP kit ups the compression from 12.5/1 to 13/1. Would there be considerations with that level of change? Maybe dumb question, should ... more »

Ok, great! Thanks for the insight guys. I’m pretty ocd with my bike maintenance and oil/filters. The bike also runs great, no indications of any problems. Will keep on going and check the valve clearance.

As related to me by someone much faster, you need to get the weight onto the pegs and off of the seat when sections get really rough and choppy. Its probably going to take some practice time on unprepped tracks after a big weekend etc.

What you may be feeling is the effect of the little springs breaking inside the traxx mechanism. Service time with an experienced shop.
