Now that’s a practice track I can relate too. Mostly natural and a lot of fun.
We do have scary things here in Oz, but have I got to admit mtb’ing in Northern California had me on the lookout for bears.
I’m getting trigger finger from Dupuytren‘s contracture. I posted about it a couple of years ago. Ligaments in the hand stiffening up. I’m 56.
A shot I took 30 years ago.
Was waiting for it. No more than a KTM, Husky, Gas Gas or whatever is next on the shopping list.
That Fantic sounds pretty awesome.
It’s always been 2 vs 4, thanks to the diehards before the rule changes.
I’m with you on this. I can’t see banzai or the rest of the main track. Maybe someone can mark the main features? I haven’t been near for 40 years, mind you.
Passenger on a Harley 90 sidecar was a lot of fun for a 10 year old between races on my Noguchi Yamaha. Still follow Sidecarcross to this day, but my swinging days are over lol.
I like this one too.
Fuck, I’m glad my main racing days were the 80’s and 90’s. I can’t stand these clowns.
Not a vid, but I found this. https://transmoto.com.au/andrew-mcfarlanes-proudest-moto-moment/
Raced for 49 years. Never broke a bone. Rotator cuff playing Aussie rules is about all I carry. Rung my bell a couple of times though.
One thing I remember was landing in Newark and getting a bus to NYC in 1990, I noticed an MX track from the freeway. Blew me out a bit as a kid from a relatively small town in Oz. Does anyone know if it’s still there?
At the least in industrial areas. We have a pretty good track close to Adelaide (1.3 million + pop) about 15 to 20 min from CBD even OK for ICE engines.
Get surgery, do all your rehab BUT don’t forget the injury too much, as you might just do something minor like throw a ball or similar some day without thinking and hurt it all over again. I’ve been there.
I was hoping for a new Clews Competition Motorcycle.
