I’ve got several Ks. You may have to do a bit of maintenance and some checks before trying to get her running. I only just built up one of our engines last weekends and they rip. Clean carb thoroughly. Fresh gas. New plug. Air filter spotless. Timing

Correct.. the 8mm studs used to pull out, as some of the G cylinder castings were soft. I used Suzuki 10mm studs that step down to 8mm. However, you can also use new 8mm studs, and get extra long helicoils or timecerts to fit. This didn't happen to all ... more »

There’s a good G Facebook page where u could post up a wanted ad. I just did a cylinder stud write up on the page, as they had issues with pulling studs. It’s a 1 year cylinder, so getting rare. Your bike in the pic looks great.

You can fit an Ohlins, but they are not cheap.

I’ve just finished the white K rebuild. Even after rebuild, the engine had 3 air leaks. Base gasket, oil side crank seal and reed block. Replaced seal, and used copper coat gasket spray on the new gaskets. Passed leak down test. Then new Mikuni with

My 77B is my pride and joy. I got it as a barn find. Still has original tires, grips, chain, piston, plastics, seat cover etc.. Only thing missing is the original front number plate.
