It's a possibility, but if you do that, you're just moving the problem to 2022. Let's say that instead of 4 riders, 8 riders will have to move to MXGP at once. There's no way all of them can find a decent spot.

France also gets postponed out of precaution. Depending on the circumstances by the beginning of May, the authorities could cancel the event to two days before the actual weekend and the organisation doesn't want to risk that. They're aiming for the ... more »

One can argue about this for hours, but it will always have pro's and contra's. -: the season gets stretched way too long -: the gap between GP #19 and GP#20 is 9 weeks. Riders have to stay in shape this period -: what if the worldchampions are known ... more »

True. The smaller "European-GP-only-teams" and the privateers now have almost 6 weeks time to train and/or recover for the Spanish round.
