San Manuel and Outdoors (MX)

There is quite a bit of frustration on many fans for the lack of understanding the reason why James Stewart does not ride outdoors. Most will say that he has the money and could ride without the support of his major sponsor. Others would say it's because he's too tired and the list goes on. When you are a fan of the sport your love and emotions often tend to take over your rational thought process. The real reason he is not riding makes sense from a business standpoint for San Manuel and James Stewart. The MX races currently do not have the same exposure in terms of broadcasting and local venues. The general public does not know about Supercross and to get them to even have an idea of Motocross is not really within reach at the moment. If James were to ride outdoors and get injured he would not be able to race SX which would cause the company to lose a great deal of money for the sake of bragging rights and satisfying the fans that don’t understand completely. If they are not making money it's not beneficial to them to risk an injury on the outdoor season. In other words fans should continue to be fans and enjoy the outdoors without James Stewart. Look forward to his cameos in other areas, and look forward to the battle that will be on the frontlines next year when Ryan and Chad Reed return to fight for the #1 plate. Would it not be a great Motocross series for everyone by not having one person dominate?
