This is from the Yamaha website. Its creatively worded. When they say updated they are referring to what was updated on the 2020 model. First featured is the give away here...... The 2021 YZ450F returns with all of the class-leading features first introduced ... more »
Used it all year in Australia for SX, MX, MXGP, MEC & MXON. worked great.
Yep same thing happened to me, i contacted my bank. I then emailed SX Live and asked what was going on. They sent me a report with the emails that they supposedly sent me....looks like it was in the fine print of one of the emails about MEC, not a stand ... more »
I'm pretty sure there was a "deep throat" reference when he was talking a bout the sound of one of the Yamaha 250's at the Lommel GP this year. There was some pretty awkward silence from JT right after.
The Hinson will work in your 18/19. Ive checked with Hinson and they confirmed, same part numbers. Yes Yamaha stock basket number has changed but HInson are running the same set up. (hopefully that helps).
I got them from TeenCee graphics in Australia. Check em out at www.teenceegraphics.com
Just finished this one up
Yeah i put a 1mm washer in to lift the cycra plate up so it didnt hit the fender.
Just finished getting mine ready for its first ride tomorrow. In my opinion this is how Yamaha should have made the graphics for the white
I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago. Good deal and there's plenty of coverage each week.Looking forward to Mxon in couple of weeks.

Well here is the finshed product. I think in the end we saved the cases and gearbox, frame, swingarm and not much else. All new R-Tech plastics with custom graphics from TeenCee. New radiators, radiator louvres, handlebars, grips, DID ERT2 chain mated
The stock clutch basket and hub were ok, but i put i a new Hinson clutch plate kit and finished it off with a Hinson clutch cover.
Once the bank was empty............... i started putting it all together, GPI radiators, and i wasn't going to mate those trick forks to stock clamps so went with an X-Trig set up. In the process i threw on a set of Works connection titanium footpegs
Probably the single biggest expense was the suspension. MCD Racing in Australia went all out, Kashima coated forks, Ti-cn coated lowers and shock shaft, hard anodised lugs and lower shock along with a X-Trig adjuster, new bearings, bushes, bump rubber
The parts list kept increasing, but i didnt want this to be just another rebuild, i wanted something a little special. So i went with A60's, laced to stock media blasted hubs, new bearings and seals, excel spline drive nipples, Dunlop MX52's - (we are
