Who's doing the telecast? SPEED is doing it. And its up to them to assign the talent for any given race, including this one. Personally, I hope it's Bailey AND Emig. DC MX Sports

I don't understand what he means. I think the track is going to surprise a lot of people, much different than what people are painting it out to be. And with first two motos are live online, the second two motos are live on SPEED, how is that going to ... more »

Cooper Webb did not quit, and the other kid's tire was coming off the rim. Besides that, it was a good race and the kids seemed to have fun. We will be doing more of these type races in the future, also with different equipment and ages.... DC MX Sports ... more »

Added reply in a thread Pourcel not jumping pro double 9/5/2010 2:55 PM

The way that jump was shaped, it shot you so high that it was almost even to not jump it, stay low and make the inside berm. It was better when you jumped it perfectly, but it was rough late in the day and the shadows were growing, so Pourcel was playing ... more »

I am actually sitting in the first turn checking the weather, and right now the track is perfect. Wil Hahn just told me it's never been better, Marc Peters and Chad did another epic job on it, and the rain yesterday was perfect for watering. Now it's ... more »

They only posted contingency for the riders at each race; we just wanted to try something limited, same as when we tried Saturday at Steel City two years ago. It was an experiment, and Honda was a good partner for it, the same way KTM was in SX for pee-ewes ... more »

Gang, when we announced it two months ago we explained that it was a sponsored element, in conjunction with Honda. It's no different than the KTM Jr. SX Challenge -- an exhibition race for one brand. It's for 13 to 16 year olds. If it works out, maybe ... more »

The 150 class at Steel City and Pala is a trial to see how four classes would work. I am hoping it opens the door for an 18-and-under development Schoolboy class that would be separated into regions. I mentioned that maybe two years ago. This year, it's ... more »

Greed? Are you serious? No OEM is making a dime in motocross right now. They are barely holding on, and now you want them to go back and tear down all of the equipment they have built up in the last decade and go back to two-strokes? As for not knowing ... more »

No, but everyone was planning on building them, and a change was going to come. Everyone seems to forget that there was a push by the government and environmentalists (especially in California) to extinguish two-stroke, oil-burning engines. At the cost ... more »
