Doing the best we can to make "supercross-only" a thing of the past. The live SPEED and NBC coverage helps, and so does the live Internet stuff. But with our SX series beinng so big and long, and the one in Austealia growing, it's still viable for some ... more »

Wish I could help but the domestic schedule is tapped out at 17 AMA Supercross rounds and 12 AMA Motocross rounds. then you have the MXoN and the likely return of the U.S. open next year, then one-off races like the X Games, the USGP and that new Red ... more »

It was such an odd thing to say that it was surely misinterpreted, or lost in translation.... This is how wars used to start. Let's stop this here and just enjoy the races, and then all just make fun of Geoff..... Again. DC MX Sports

Okay, like I said in Racerhead, there must have been something lost in translation. Ping got an email from Tony Cairoli tonight and he forwarded it to me. AC did NOT mean to say Dungey was slower than the MX2 guys, he was saying that he thought MX2 in ... more »

Cairoli saying Dungey isn't even as good as some MX2 guys is the really odd thing here. I thnk it's cool that Ping stood up for the AMA Motocross champion, and the AMA Supercross Champion, and the MXoN champion.... I just really can't believe Cairoli ... more »

Nope, wasn't me carving beef or dealing blackjack, but I was there for the Butterfly Release, with my fellow B-Fly Guy K-Dub.... That's an inside joke actually. When I was pushing Wharton's bike back, everyone kept asking for his side number plates, ... more »

Sorry, I meant 2011, and Burn, weren't you the guy above who said this was just a deal between me and Honda, and that I give preferential treatment to them over all of the other OEMs? It isn't and I don't. We deal with all of the OEMs on many levels, ... more »

We do not have race qualifiers in the morning because the vast majority of the riders and teams would prefer timed qualifying instead. The day is long as it is, but we are trying to find more ways to give the series more exposure and also find ways to ... more »

We asked every video shooter there if they had Pourcel's crash to give to SPEED and no one did. He fell in a weird spot, and the cameras were just not on him at the time. It was a big crash to miss unfortunately. DC MX Sports

Pala is here to stay. The traffic problems will be fixed, you have my word. This race attracted a great deal of spectators and that's a good problem to have for a first-time event, it will grow and it will be much better. DC MX Sports

Who's doing the telecast? SPEED is doing it. And its up to them to assign the talent for any given race, including this one. Personally, I hope it's Bailey AND Emig. DC MX Sports
