Have you looked into the bigger play bikes, like a KLX140, CRF150F or the new CRF125F? Not trying to steer you away from a 110, I’ve owned a few KLX110s and have ridden a CRF110 a dozen times, they can be fun. But I have a few 140s now and I don’t see ... more »

Jeez, going to have every bike size with A-kit

Not to go completely off topic, but that’s a sweet 140 you built, Derek. Saw it on IG the other day. Casey and I have a few 140s too.

Pierce rode awesome! He didn’t light up the board during qualifying, but he did kind of what i thought, just stayed solid the whole moto and picked guys off. Btw Peely, tell him thanks, he scored me some solid points in fantasy!

You’re definitely right about the 150R triangle being smaller, or at least having a smaller feel. The 140 feels way more spacious, and the 150F feels a hair bigger than a 140. The 150F is noticeably heavier though, it can feel like a tank on smaller ... more »

No problem! I haven’t come across a year that hasn’t fit, but I’d stay as modern as you can (maybe like mid 2000s up) just to be on the safe side.

Saw a video of the crash, and a picture of his motor... Definitely a hard hit, and his motor had a hole blown in the front cases.

Yeah, you need to be lined up at like 4:30am to get in. Some buddies and I just did the Houston race. We got to the stadium a little after 5 (10/15 minutes) while there wasn’t much of a line at that time, we still ended up pretty far back in the pits. ... more »

That’s a DFW area code. Come pay him a visit Patsy when you get the chp bike

I was just referring to the 17/14 bike. I was only pointing that out because my buddy traded for one, and then realized he couldn’t race it at a big pitbike race we were going to because of the reasons I said above.

You can find 140s for much cheaper than that. I bought a ‘17 140L for $1900, and a ‘16 140L for $1800. Both were very clean and didn’t have many hours on them. My buddy just picked up a ‘14 140L that looked brand new for $1400. The race thing is actually ... more »

Front end bolts right on. I’ve heard a couple of guys having to put a washer under the bottom stem bearing because of a little slack, but I haven’t had that problem. For the 85 rear shock, you need to swap the L clevis on to the 85 shock. The 85 clevis

It actually isn’t that expensive. A full blown stupid fast motor package from Indonesia is about $1000. That’s head, cylinder, crank, carb, cam, and CDI. You can usually find 85 stuff cheap, I’ve found rollers for around $500. Really just need the forks, ... more »
