I’m at the beach right now, last day of vacation, and I’m so glad I didn’t see this before. I would not have stepped foot in the water. So F’in scary!

I bought mine from BBR Motorsports, just to support them because of what they do for the pitbike scene here, but you can get the same kit from an Indonesia dealer for about $50-100 cheaper. Sounds sketchy, but he’s legit. Myself and some buddies have ... more »

Luke, some buddies and I ride pitbikes (mainly KLX140s) due to not wanting to risk injury. It obviously can still happen, but it takes that risk down a bit when you slow the speed down, and you aren’t jumping 100ft. Might be something to think about. ... more »

Just listened for the first time (hangtown). It’s no pulp, but pretty good. RV is his typical “people’s champ” self. Only thing that I thought was dumb is the fake laughs and applause. So cheesy, and kind of annoying.

You “definitely” did too.

All I have done to my 140 is a 170 bore kit and pipe. I can usually hit most, if not everything, on regular tracks here. It’s not a 250F motor, but it’s not a really a slouch either.

Wandell is right. The KLX/DRZ125 (and TTR125) have an open cradle frame. BBR used to sell a frame cradle, but no longer make them. They are pretty hard to find used too.

I was wondering the same. I figured they would have asked on the podium or press conference, but nothing? It seemed like he still had tear offs, so my only guess would be dirt or sweat got into them.

I have a ‘17 KX250F, and I’ve been battling the same thing. I had it resprung and revalved right from the get go, and the harshness is still there. If the track is pretty smooth, my suspension is awesome. Any decent breaking bumps form, and my hands ... more »

If you’re wanting to go to a 26, BBR used to sell a kit. They no longer do, but have the info posted on their site of what you need. It’s basically just a 2001 XR200 carb with an adapter (BBR sells it), and a custom throttle cable.

The front end is pretty much bolt on and go. The rear end, I’d stick with the L shock. Just get a spring for your weight.

This is what I was going to say. I have vertigo and this has happened to me a couple times. Never with riding, but after driving a couple hours I’ll feel this way. I’ve also randomly gotten the room/ground is moving, dizzy, and blurry vision. I’ve hit ... more »

Like Wandell said, even though it may be reliable, it’s still high maintenance compared to the trail bikes. If you want a mini 250F, it’s definitely the perfect bike. If you want an actual pitbike, then it doesn’t fit that category. Unless you mean a ... more »

the 150R is a race bike, it’s pretty much like owning a 250F. You’ll need to stay on top of oil changes, cleaning the air filter, checking the valves, and doing top ends. That 150R motor is built for performance. The 140/150f motors are basically bulletproof, ... more »

Ride one. They are just fun. Whenever I let someone ride my 140, they always come back saying they can’t believe what fun it was. I recently let a local pro take a spin on my bike at a night practice, he came back grinning from ear to ear, and said “Forget ... more »

What Bob said... The seat height on a 140L is closer to a 110 than a 250F.

I rode it once before I had an engine issue. It’s getting fixed now and then I’ll be able to compare the 2. Right now, the 140 is my favorite bike. Thank you though! I know you said you wanted something more nimble, but get the L model. The shock alone ... more »
