He will always be the Dan Marino, Buffalo Bills or Charles Barkley if he never wins the 450 SX title.

Yea, in pro sports that happens often. I am not saying it’s right, but it happens.

Surprised this is such a hot topic. Rider struggles and can’t get comfortable, crew chief gets frustrated and is already tired of the grind. He quits or is about to be fired, depending on who you talk too. The rider continues the same inconsistencies ... more »

I fully agree with you there. Transparency is a must in my opinion.

My point is team accounts can keep a professional image while still sharing important information. The world today is a fishbowl, like it or not everyone and everything is visible and rather than fight to keep information secret they should release it on their terms. The important information always leaks anyway, they need to get out in front of the stories. The Internet isn’t changing, it’s up to the teams to adapt. Thanks for reading!

I don’t think it’s fair to compare PC Kawi to Buttery Films. Seems like it would be more appropriate to compare them to rockstar husky or tld KTM. Team accounts that have a professional image lack drama and won’t have people paying attention to the level of an interesting personality.

They need to stop looking at social media negatives and enjoy the positives. It’s a new world and some will flourish and some won’t.

Another good article. From the outside looking in it seems like the Factory teams and the bigger supported teams like Rocky Mnt are holding back their riders from saying what we want to hear. Maybe its an age related thing and they dont quite grip the magnitude of Social Medias...more

Social Media allows every athlete the opportunity to market and brand themselves with their own personal highlight real. I can’t understand why everybody in the game wouldn’t take a cue from Deano, Colin and Josh Hill. Granted, their job is to perform on Saturday and that takes focus and...more

If any of the riders want to know how to share information they just need to look at Dean Wilson. He posted everything we want to know without throwing his team under the bus for the bike malfunction.

I mean he was on the podium very quickly on the 450. When’s the last time any of those other guys were on the podium other than reed and Wilson very recently? I see your point, but I think Martin has a lot more potential than some of those guys at this point.
