At least your plastics are in decent shape, my '83 needs damn near every piece of plastic. Are you going to modify it as per the Yamaha Wrench Report issued for it?

I have been told that good cream peroxide works quite well, but the key is to heavily coat the tank in the peroxide cream, then seal it in a clear plastic bag and leave it in the sun for a couple of days

I would love to see the addition of a legends category, where you could compete with Roger DeCoster, Rick Johnson, Marty Moates etc. It would be great if they would include vintage works bikes as well, so you could see how a racer such as Dungey or Tomac would stack up vs Bob Hannah, David Bailey, or Jeff Ward.

The AMA should take the 450 rule and round it off to 500cc.
