Thanks guys! Rooster originally ready to run no fuel it was 229. I was able to eventually get it down to 227. On the stand and in motion though its one of those that feels 20lbs lighter. The chamber was probably the single biggest weight adder. Id guess it weighs 5-8 lbs easy.

This is good news. I always liked riding/ racing there. I rode there mainly from the day it opened until probably late 02, then 09ish on. The early days i rode there it seemed almost every day they were open. I liked the early layout when vp owned it. ... more »

Broesel neat bikes. Is that a ktm engine in your honda? I have the opposite, honda engine in a ktm.

Look at: Reeds When you had cylinder off, did you look at powervalve to make sure all is well? When installing cylinder, you sure you lined actuator up right? If powervalve is messed up, it would still start the same, just not run good. You reeds should ... more »

A guy in england does them. He makes an exact replica of the works parts, down to the clutch oiler on the right cover. I have his email if you need They are who okie got his from. Made from billet.

Have you ever made a skidplate? By the way, thanks for the frame guards. They are molded nice, and hold up better than the ktm grip tape i was using. I Seem to wear those thru every 5 hrs. These still look new after some good use.

Those are i think called quadrilateral linkage forks. I remember seeing photos of them on various bikes from the late 60s, 70s. I think honda bought the rights from valentino ribi to build whats in the photo. Decoster liked them. I think he had some ... more »
