I have a complete 2016 YZ250 for sale. One ride on the new OEM top end rebuild. Roughly 50 hours on the bike. You could take the engine and part the rest of it out. Let me know what you want to spend and maybe we can make a deal.

With golf losing popularity and not being embraced by young people, there should be a lot more closed down courses in the years to come. When the Boomers start to really thin out, that will be about it for golf. Convert half to motocross tracks, and

RG3 did a great job on my 2006 CRF450r. I used the Smart Valves or whatever they are called. I believe the Showa components are the same on the CR. They make it stiff, even with the C rider spec. If you like it stiff, they may be a good bet. I don't ... more »

In Weigandt's "Why the decline in local moto" web article from a few years back, he said that MTB was on the up and up. So there must be some increase in participation. There seems to be momentum in that industry. Many bike companies seem to be doing ... more »

There is nothing wrong with a little e-boost, as long as the riders are not running other bikers and runners off trails and such. Riding a regular mountain bike is tough work, especially as people age and many people being forced to work longer hours ... more »

I think many people on e-bikes will be existing riders who switched bikes. I think this may be like all the two-stroke riders who swiched to four-strokes. People who enjoy mountain biking may enjoy it more with a little e-boost. This is a dangerous and ... more »

Nice work! I'd still likely keep the pedal bike and throw down the ~5K for a budget e-bike. I'd like to keep the pedal bike as a pedal bike just in case a friend or hopefully a hot female wanted to go for a ride. Having 2 good mountain bikes would be ... more »

It looks like a nice bike, but $7,500 is more than I would want to spend. ~5K is my ceiling at my budget. I'd rather spend less and have it paid for sooner.

Would a base Kenevo be best for all around riding on a ~5K budget? Spending 8K is a little too much for my budget.

From an economic perspective one could argue that the newfound popularity enabled promoters to jack up entry fees and the OEMs to push expensive four-strokes. Then the bubble went pop, local racing entries went off a cliff, and the OEMs are giving away ... more »

Will e-bikes take a bite out of motocross' piece of the outdoor recreation economic pie? If so, an already hurting sport could be put out to pasture in the next 5-10.

I'd like to get one as soon as finances allow. I work a blue-collar job and am on my feet all day. An e-bike could allow me to do that kind of work and still get a lot of MTB riding in. Call me a weenie if you like, but one day I went to the moto track ... more »
