Bingo. Use a CVT, cut the motor size and weight in half, reduce the battery capacity by 30%. All by the use of multiple (or continuous) gearing. You can get the same rear wheel torque with a much smaller power system.

It's pretty obvious that their is more horsepower than can be effectively used on the SX tracks. Outdoors it's still pretty close to the same thing. Watch a good 125 race on youtube either indoors or outdoors and you'll see some real racing. Rider skill ... more »

Was able to watch it flawlessly on my home PC, then went to the park and continued watching it live on my phone. The clarity was phenomenal. This is the best that it's been in a couple of years.
