I would always pay attention to RC and DBMX

It was absolutely ridiculous. This is the premier event in MX. It looked like a high school AV club production..... (from the 80's). I don't think I can recall anything that unprofessional in a TV production.

RC was the hardest working yielding him to become the Greatest MX/SX racer of all time. JS was the most talented rider MX/SX racer ever on the track. I would guess powdered donuts was all he needed on certain days. All that said, RCs comment was just ... more »

Love hearing JS. He is a living legend, so it's always great hearing his perspective. #2 on the AMA Pro win list, and was one of the key figures that moved MX into a more mainstream view. I think he was the most talented bike rider in history, and his ... more »

AC is always a class act. Very easy to be a fan. He makes our sport look good, and his team look good.

Agreed. With the points that close, and him racing in massive pain, he was focused on hopefully getting a early lead, creating a gap, and hopefully tough it out. Unfortunately he knee is just too far gone.

Webb is mentally tough as nails. His race craft is phenomenal. And he has excellent speed. That's why is going to win the championship. Luck is not part of that equation.

Was not referencing the ME CUP. Given that moment in time I think #17 did the right thing (except he should not have made it so obvious). I was referencing the last SX race of the year in 2017 in LV, where the fundamental strategy was to put #5 on the ... more »

Certainly not worse than then moto-derby Monster Kawi tried it to do in LV 2017.

I think marv passed him 3 or more times in that single moto. Anyway it shakes out, this season continues to be the making of a great one.

Reply to Webb vs Marvin 3/30/2019 6:07 PM

I rewound the race. Didn't see anything like that. 3 wide in a corner on a congested first lap. IF he touched him it seemed incidental. Then Webb directed contact to MM maybe 5 times, until he ran him off the track. (I don't think Webb was dirty or violating ... more »

What exactly is the rule about "acceleration" off tract? Seems awfully ambiguous. Are you supposed to idle? He was ahead when he went off the track.
