Added reply in a thread Team USA: Where do we go from Here 10/8/2018 11:14 PM

Monster Cup last weekend of October instead of a week after MXDN. That would give teams more time to test and make the Monster Cup more competitive too.

I'd be more impressed with MXDN wins and MXGP titles, because Supercross is overrated and US riders don't care about the Nationals anymore.

If he beats Everts' record of world titles and keeps doing well at the Des Nations, he will be the Greatest MXGP rider ever. MXGP is what people in Europe care about, not AMA, so why would he struggle in Supercross and shorten his career when he's a ... more »

Added reply in a thread Let’s hear the excuses 10/7/2018 10:33 PM

I'm just pointing out that the FIM and AMA bikes aren't exactly the same. If both bikes have similar top end and one has more grunt down low that could make a big difference in sloppy conditions. I'm not trying to make an excuse, I actually posted the ... more »

I remember when Dungey was still riding they said his bike had the same frame and suspension as the Euro KTMs, but that the Euro KTMs had a different engine and more power.

Keep in mind that English isn't his native language and this was a post race interview not a team KTM press release. Funny that so many people are crying about Herlings being arrogant, but they don't like that Musquin has a Beta personality either. Guess ... more »

I called it last week that Herlings would beat Tomac, so that wasn't surprising. I wonder if there is a horsepower advantage for the FIM riders that is effecting the results. I remember when Dungey was still riding, they said his bike had the same chassis/suspension ... more »

If I was betting, I'd put my money on Herlings. Anyone remember the last time Tomac got a holeshot?? Yeah, me neither. Red Bud was also Tomac's worst National this year by far (36-9).

Spend a bunch of money "upgrading" your bike and still go the same speed everywhere.

Added reply in a thread Is it even motocross if? 9/30/2018 3:41 AM

Is it even motocross if you don't have a heart rate monitor, a Litpro, and a riding coach? Is it even motocross if you don't go out of your way to whip/scrub everything bigger than a whoop? Is it even motocross if your 2 stroke exhaust doesn't smell ... more »

That's a sweet bike, congrats! I wouldn't mind a set of KX450 forks for my two stroke.

Aww that stinks! Guess he has the most to lose from a bad finish, given that he still races.

I'm a huge fan of Travis and I think it's awesome that him and Sipes are gonna be smokin' at MXdN. That said, more lapped riders is never a good thing.

I honestly feel like the MXA results are more accurate for weekend warriors than most other tests. People are giving the the KTM waay too much flack for not having an arm jerking hit off the bottom. The CRF and YZ are great bikes, no doubt, but monster ... more »
