Added reply in a thread Vet Class Riders.......What are you running and why? Pics please!?!?!? 7/25/2019 12:57 PM

Currently riding a 2019 CRF250R. I’m 5’10” and 155 lbs, vet expert / intermediate rider. It’s a very fun bike, and I’m having a great time being back on a 250, since I rarely race anymore.

Up until recently I was on a 2018 YZ450F, which is ... more »

Added reply in a thread Odi Emig grips? 3/15/2019 5:25 AM

Actually, I really like the ODI’s, but the Pro Taper grips felt too thin for me and I got some arm pump as a result. But in regards to front end feel, I don’t feel a difference when I ride with regular grips on friends’ bikes. ?

Best of luck Michael! I always enjoyed your content, and I’ll be sure to follow your YouTube channel. We had a great time testing together a few years back, and I’ll let you know next time I’m back in California so we can go riding! Best, Andre

Added reply in a thread Fox helmet sizing 3/14/2019 5:46 PM

I’ve been wearing medium sized Shoei helmets for a while. When I was about to purchase a Fox V3, I tried both medium and large sizes, but the medium was much more comfortable for me. The large felt loose all around.

Naanak, I didn’t get any rotation with mine, but I tightened them really well with a long Allen wrench (lots of leverage).

Added reply in a thread Odi Emig grips? 3/13/2019 6:15 PM

The Pro Taper lock on grips feel thinner than the Emig ODI’s, in my opinion. I’ve been a fan of the Emig ODI’s for a while, but decided to try the Pro Taper lock on grips. After a while, I switched back as they felt too thin for me, and I didn’t get ... more »

He was riding at Pro Circuit’s track today at Glen Helen. He was looking good on the bike, as guys at this level always do. Seemed very relaxed, and he definitely improved a lot in the whooops, which seemed to be his weakness a while ago.

Added reply in a thread Vision (contacts) 12/31/2018 7:02 PM

I also wear Acuvue contacts, and in my case without major issues. They only bother me on long motos, on hot days, when too much sweat gets into my eyes. As that happens, the vision gets a little blurry sometimes.

Added reply in a thread Bogle on the RMATV KTM Questions 12/31/2018 6:59 PM

Bogle was out riding at Elsinore today and looking good on the bike. Maybe not full speed yet, but he seemed to have adapted well to the KTM. He was very relaxed on the bike, with his signature leg swag over a few of the jumps.

250 2nd moto: Savatgy wheelies away with the holeshot!

But we can see Osborne had a much better start this time, just behind the 3 Yamahas. The S turn is always exciting in the first lap, when pack is still bunched up. Savatgy ... more »

Thanks rpoint116 . Glacier was incredible. In fact, if I had to choose between going back to Glacier or Yellowstone, I would probably choose GNP. After I'm done with the race pics, I'll post a couple from Glacier.

Cool shot wildbill ! I never saw Magoo riding in person and only met him at the 2007 MXdN at Budds Creek. At that time his health was already gone, and I was sad to see a guy as wild as Magoo in that state.

Musquin was on it! Although Tomac did manage to get close and nearly passed him, MM laid down some fast laps and pulled away. It did look like Tomac toned it down after making a few mistakes, and maybe ET was focusing more on the championship than on

450 first moto: Musquin grabs the holeshot, while a fan waves a french flag (is it really?) and Benny Bloss goes down hard in the background.

Benny's bike is now on top of him, and I was impressed that he recovered all the way to 17th place. ... more »
