I am 99% sure that some aftermarket restyle kit will be available. However, I hope that it also includes a 22 replica seat, as it is not the same as the previous one. If not, you need the complete plastic kit, new tank, new seat and new airbox. Exhaust ... more »

If you don´t mind me asking, what size of filler wire are you using? And what's the wall thickness of the cone? Apart from that, this is so incredibly cool.

I also have a 250, and I am really interested in updating the bodywork. The most expensive parts would be the complete seat and the fuel tank, however I'm sure there will be aftermarket options. I can't justify selling my bike to get a new one just for ... more »

I need that bodywork for my YZ. The only Japanese brand that still builds two strokes. Kudos to them.

How many of the 'real racers' posting here have ever ridden on a supercross track?

Nothing to add. Excatly what I felt when I had a 2012 KX450F. Curious to see if the new 450's or 250 F's are different, but I didn't know how much I hated that bike until I rode a YZ 250. Sold it, bought a YZ 250 and have never looked back.

Awesome pit bits - thanks! I'm an Eli fan, but Kenny with both legs up railing that corner... he gets my vote on this one. Great shot!

How is Kenny doing that! Mind blowing. Also. How is eli doing that... his header is almost dragging. Wild. Great shots!

gents lets be honest, Beta is not doing this to set the 450 Nationals on fire, nor the 2 stroke champs or anything. Beta is doing this because Beta is a great company with an already sweet lineup and they see the market for a 300cc MX bike for weekend warrior type folks. We now have the YZed...more

The haters are going to hate, but the same thing was said about KTM's before they became the off-road juggernaut they are today. I raced KTM's when I was the only KTM on the line. I remember running into Tom Webb and Super Hunky, I was a proud owner of a new 1983 KTM 495 and I wanted the world...more

I think biofuels are the answer. By using ethanol, for example, all the carbon emitted will be absorbed by the growing crops (say corn). So basically all your emisions are recycled in a natural way. I love IC engines, yes they are less efficient, yes ... more »

Just take a second to review the pic of AC sending Larocco's. These guys are the absolute definition of commitment, so gnarly.

Of course! That's why I suggest the torq drive. The torq drive clutch has steel friction disks (and 12 of them). They are pretty much bullet proof. And yes, he is absolutely hammering that clutch out of corners for sure.

If I were his mechanic, I would buy a Rekluse Torq Drive, get a cnc-machined spacer so I can use the Hinson clutch cover and make everyone happy. You simply cannot burn steel friction disks in 20 minutes.
