Thanks for the replies guys, so riding a few times in sand doesn't seem to be as bad as I've heard.

Perfecto muchas gracias! A veces uno se preocupa más por lo que escucha que por lo que en realidad sucede. De todos modos cada 15 horas desarmo y engraso todo así que no tendría que preocuparme por la arena que se mete en los bolilleros y rulemanes

Hi guys, I have only ridden in dirt motocross tracks because there are no sand tracks around, however I would really like to ride in the sand. Althought I know I will have to re-learn the basics, I am more concerned about how agressive it is on the bike. ... more »

Believe it or not they were pretty decent. I imagine somebody had greased them once at least.

This bike is indistructible, no doubt about it.

Even more awesome is that the shock seal is not even leaking. Maybe it just run out of fluid

You know what's so funny? The bushing is so worn out (even after cleaning it) that the linkage has a lot of play with new bearings in it, and when I told him about it he said: "But it didn't have that play before". I can't decide if that is too funny

Hi guys, I am working on a friend's 2014 RMZ 450 and believe it or not it has 140 hs from new and it still has never had a rear suspension service. He says it is good for a couple more hours. What are your thoghts on this? The bearings were almost welded

I agree. The same happens with other games too, I believe that Dirt 2 is the best rally game I've ever played. The new ones don't even come close, IMHO

Added reply in a thread 450 to 250 2 stroke...(update) ! 12/20/2018 6:48 AM

I came from a KX450F to a YZ250. If you are racing, the 450 may be an advantage, but not a huge one though. For everything else, the 250 is better for me. It will make you smile for no reason.

I don´t even know why people invest so much time researching, for example to develop a neck brace, when there are guys that already know that they don´t need one. Moreover, why did someone even bothered to collect this information, when some guys have ... more »

Thanks bud, I haven't thought of that. Finally the clutch worked fine. My brother just started the bike and before putting it into gear we pushed the bike so that it wouldn't stall and after getting some speed he clicked first gear. After a few minutes ... more »

Yes it call for DOT 4 brake fluid. I'm sure it has no air in the line. So I inspected the friction disks and there you have it. They are done, but the owner swears that the clutch was working properly. Should changing the clutch plates be the solution? ... more »

Hi guys, a friend of mine bought recently a 2015 FC 250. Today we were trying to bleed the clutch and now when you put the bike into gear it dies because the clutch does not disengage at all. It was working before we try to bleed it, so I'm sure it has ... more »
